Hello, everyone, and welcome to Clarinet Quartet Shop’s blog.

The arranger

My name is Alex Russo,

I studied with Ugo Contrevi and then with Agide Brunelli, graduating at the Conservatory “G. Rossini” in Pesaro.

So, by participating in several national and international competitions, I am among the top three winners.

Founder of the Clarinet Quartet “MASQUERADE”, I participated in several concerts and events as a soloist and as the 1st clarinet in the ensembles of the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro.

I attended the Orchestra Formation Course with the participation of the best masters of the Symphony Orchestra “G. Rossini “in Pesaro, then I played as Second Clarinet in the FORM – Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana.

Among the many clarinet masterclasses there are many lectures by Masters such as:

  • Paolo Beltramini (1st Clarinet Soloist of the Swiss Orkestra),
  • Vincenzo Paci (1st Clarinet of the Teatro alla Fenice in Venice),
  • Stefano Novelli (1st Clarinet of the Academy of Santa Cecilia Orchestra),
  • Giammarco Casani,
  • Francesco Spendolini,
  • Italo Capicchioni (1st Clarinet for the famous fame of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan),
  • Valeria Serangeli (1st Clarinet of Carlo Felice Theater in Genova).

Then I can boast many arrangements for Quartet, Quintet and Clarinet Choir.
